Tom Madden has a diverse and strong foundation in sales, sales management, and market innovation within the insurance industry. His insurance career started with American Medical Security where he spent over 10 years learning the industry from the carrier perspective focused on individuals, small business, and self-funded plans for companies that had less than 200 employees.
Upon the sale of AMS at the end of 2005, Tom entered the insurance agency field working with large publicly traded and family owned employee benefit agencies. In both these agency segments his focus was on working with businesses of less than 200 employees to better manage the issue of high quality benefits and affordability.
iPlanRx, Tom’s current company, was founded along with John Lochner and Tom Zielinski, industry veterans that believe there is a better way for employers to support employee’s in their needs for quality benefits. iPlanRx was founded with the mission of empowering individuals to make better health and wealth purchasing decisions. iPlanRx is a market innovator in the private health exchange space and provides the vision, activity, and leadership to its client partners who believe that the path to better benefits puts the employee or individual first.
