We had 8 members attend our most recent Milwaukee chapter meeting including new attendee Lorry Rifkin, a CPA and consultant to area firms. Lorry has also joined us last month for our Social.
The smaller meeting allowed for a lengthy discussion of our question of the month (proposed by Lorry): Other than networking, what are your primary sources of marketing your business? How do you make connections with business owners?
A variety of ideas were discussed including purchase of prepared marketing lists and business directories, direct mailing campaigns (and the expected response rate of those campaigns), client referrals, and leveraging other professionals into direct meetings.
